Police arrest Truck Hijackers Loaded with cigarette
The police in Oyo State have arrested three persons that hijacked a truck loaded with 150 cartons of cigarette at the Tollgate area of Ibadan.

The command’s spokesman, who paraded the suspects, Umaru Sunday and Itoh John, said investigation by police further led to the arrest of Peju Okanlawon, from who another 120 cartons of cigarette were recovered in Lagos State.
He said upon interrogation, Peju Okanlawon confessed to have assisted the hijackers to move the cigarette to their receivers in Ibadan where they were arrested.
Osifeso said preliminary investigation revealed that the hijacked trailer and the goods belonged to a tobacco company in Ibadan, adding that the management of the company had confirmed the missing consignment.
