Police nab 14 robbery suspects in Adamawa
EMERGENCY DIGEST- Fourteen suspects have been arrested by police in Adamawa State for alleged house-to-house robbery in Yola North and Yola South local government areas.
The police command said in a statement yesterday that it recovered one Audi vehicle, six computer sets, two TV sets, and some quantities of hard drugs from the suspects.

The statement released by police spokesman Suleiman Nguroje said the 14 suspects, who are residents of different places, have confessed to robbery of household items and rustling of 34 cows, the police said.
The police added in its statement, “The suspects during interrogation confessed committing offences of house to house robberies within Yola North and Yola South LGAs and rusttling 34 cows, among others.”
The statement further said the Police Command’s operatives attached to State CID and Crack Squad, apprehended the suspects earlier in the week.
It quoted the state Commissioner of Police, Sikiru Akande, as assuring Adamawa people of sustained efforts against criminals to make life safer for all residents.
