Nation Builders @60 Compendium Ready for Launching Today
“Celebrating Nigeria: The Nation Builders at 60”, a special publication aimed at celebrating outstanding individuals, who have distinguished themselves in various fields of endeavor and contributed immensely to the Nigerian project, is set for launching tomorrow.
The auspicious event, billed to take place tomorrow, November 27, will be held at the Congress Hall of Transcorp Hilton, in Abuja.
The 60 eminent Nigerians identified by the group include ex-IGP Mohammed Dahiru Abubakar; Lt. Gen. Tukur Yusufu Buratai, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS); Mrs. Zainab Shamshuna, Minister of Finance; Sen. Oluremi Tinubu; Sen. Ahmed Yarima Bakura, ex-Zamfara State Governor; Dr. Mohammed Kyari Dikwa,mni, retired Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Finance; late Jaafar Mahmud Adam, a revered Islamic cleric; Dele Momodu; media mogul; and Abdulsamad Isyaka Rabiu, acclaimed business tycoon.

According to Dr. Abubakar Mohammed, Coordinator of Project 60@60, organizers of the event, the 60 distinguished Nigerians who have been identified will be honored for their outstanding work and contribution to the Nigeria project.
He added that the 60 illustrious individuals share a special bond with Nigeria, as they were also born the same year Nigeria got its independence, in the year 1960.
