VeryDarkMan Criticizes EFCC Chairman Over Failure to Arrest Yahaya Bello
Controversial social media figure, Martins Ortse, also known as VeryDarkMan, has sharply criticized the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ola Olukoyede, for his failure to apprehend former Kogi State governor Yahaya Bello, who was declared wanted by the EFCC earlier this year.

VeryDarkMan took to Instagram on Monday, calling Olukoyede “incompetent” and accusing him of mediocrity, following the EFCC’s ongoing inability to arrest Bello over alleged N80.2 billion money laundering charges. Despite being placed on the EFCC’s wanted list since April 2024, Bello was reportedly allowed to present himself to the commission and was released soon after.
In his post, VeryDarkMan expressed frustration at the delay in Bello’s prosecution, saying, “Since April, EFCC has only posted story after story about Bello. Meanwhile, they have arraigned over 100 people, with a fraction of the amount Bello is accused of laundering.”
He continued, mocking the EFCC Chairman’s leadership: “Ola Olukoyede is a symbol of incompetence… the only grace you have is the fact that the youths are always carried away. Your office shouldn’t be existing anymore, arresting young boys every day and neglecting the real fraudsters.”
