FG, NASU, SSANU Meeting Ends in Deadlock Over Withheld Salaries
The meeting between the Federal Government and the Joint Action Committee of NASU and SSANU on Thursday ended without resolution, as the unions remain on strike over four months of withheld salaries.

Held at the Federal Ministry of Education and chaired by Dr. Yusuf Sununu, the meeting provided assurances of payment, but no specific date was given, leaving the unions unconvinced.
SSANU Vice-President, Abdussobur Salaam, reiterated that the strike would continue until their demands are met, stating that previous assurances without action have eroded trust.
The strike has paralyzed university activities nationwide since Monday.
