ASKOJ Condoles with Kano Govt Spokesman, Bature Over Son’s Death

The Association of Kano Online Journalists (ASKOJ) has joined the mourners across the nation to mourn the death of Abubakar Sadik Sanusi Bature.

The son of Malam Sanusi Bature, the Director General of Media and Publicity to the Kano State Governor, who tragically passed away on Thursday at an Indian medical facility after brief illness.

In a press statement issued on Friday by the association’s Chairman, Malam Yakubu Salisu and signed by its secretary, Yusuf Isa An-nuphawi, the organization described the loss as “tragic” which came at a critical period when the DG is dedicated to enhancing the governor’s image on the global stage.

However, the president also acknowledged that such events are ultimately the will of Almighty Allah.

Mallam Yakubu extended prayers for strength to the Bature family, calling Abubakar a “shining light” with a bright future but ‘gone to soon’.

The Association stands in solidarity with the family during this difficult time, praying that Allah gives it the fortitude to bear the sad loss of the young gem.
