EFCC Probes Staff Over N15m Bribery Allegation
The Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ola Olukoyede, has ordered an investigation into allegations of bribery against some officers of the commission. This comes after Idris Okuneye (a.k.a Bobrisky), an ex-convict, alleged in a viral video that EFCC officers collected N15 million from him to drop money laundering charges.

Okuneye made the claims in a video powered by Martins Vincent Otse (a.k.a VeryDarkMan). In response, the EFCC swiftly constituted a team of investigators and invited both Okuneye and Otse to assist in the probe.
The EFCC, through its spokesperson Dele Oyewale, assured the public that the allegations would be thoroughly investigated, and the findings made public.
