Flutterwave and EFCC Partner to Secure Nigeria’s Digital Future
Flutterwave, Africa’s leading payments technology company, has announced a strategic partnership with Nigeria’s Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to establish a Cybercrime Research Center. This initiative is aimed at tackling the growing threat of financial fraud as the digital payment landscape evolves.
The partnership will focus on developing new fraud detection and prevention technologies, providing training for law enforcement, and supporting research into financial crime. Located at the EFCC Academy, the center will enhance the capacity to combat cybercrime and help stabilize financial systems.

Additionally, the center will train 500 young individuals, equipping them with essential skills for the digital economy.
