Aisha Yesufu Slams DSS Over Sowore’s Arrest, Calls Them “Shameless and Unintelligent
Socio-political activist Aisha Yesufu has strongly criticized the Department of State Services (DSS) following the arrest of Omoyele Sowore, former presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC).

Earlier, DAILY POST reported that Sowore, a prominent organizer of the EndBadGovernance protests, was apprehended by the DSS in Lagos on Sunday after returning to Nigeria from the United States. Sowore later confirmed his release in a post on X (formerly known as Twitter).
In response to the arrest, Yesufu took to her official X account to express her outrage, branding the DSS as “shameless” and “unintelligent” for their actions.
She wrote, “DSS/SSS is not only shameless but unintelligent. They fell for the bait! Kai!
“No wonder terrorists are using them to chew gum.”
