YRC Denies Russian Flag Involvement, Demands Release of Arrested Members
The Youth Rights Campaign (YRC) has distanced itself from the Russian flag that appeared during the #EndBadGovernanceinNigeria protest held between August 1-10. This clarification followed the arrest of its National Coordinator, Adaramoye Michael Lenin, and Mosiu Sodiq by the Department of State Security and National Intelligence Agency.

At a press conference in Lagos, activists called for the immediate release of the detained individuals, emphasizing that the YRC does not support Russia and was not responsible for flying the Russian flag during the protest.
