DSS Spokesperson Peter Afunanya Redeployed
The Department of State Services (DSS) has redeployed its Director of Public Relations and Strategic Communications, Dr. Peter Afunanya, effective immediately. Dr. Afunanya, who has served as the spokesperson for the nation’s secret police for the past 10 years, announced the change during a press conference in Abuja on Wednesday. While he did not disclose his new position, he described the redeployment as a routine exercise within the service.
Dr. Afunanya expressed his deep appreciation to the DSS for the opportunity to serve and pledged his continued commitment to the service and the country. He also acknowledged the support he received from the press during his tenure and promised to continue his service with dedication and loyalty.
