TRADOC Inaugurates Panel for 2024 Senior Staff Course Examination
The Commander of the Training and Doctrine Command of the Nigerian Army (TRADOC NA), Major General Kevin Aligbe, has inaugurated the Examination Panel for the 2024 Senior Staff Course Qualifying Examination (SSCQE).
The Spokesperson of TRADOC, Lt Colonel Sani UBA disclosed that the inauguration ceremony took place at the Joseph Garba Hall, Post Graduate School of the Nigerian Defence Academy in Kaduna, Kaduna State.
As the Examination President, Maj Gen Aligbe charged the 66 panelists to bring their wealth of experience to bear in discharging their responsibilities. He stated that their nomination was based on their high level of integrity, honesty, and professional competence.

The Commander TRADOC NA urged the panelists to be above board and adhere to the principles of fairness, thoroughness, and uprightness in conducting the examination. He emphasized the criticality of the SSCQE as a core determinant of the candidates’ career progression, which must be handled objectively and transparently.
“You have come to assess the officers who are to work with you in meeting the objectives of national defence and security imperatives,” Maj Gen Aligbe told the panelists. He reminded them of the guidelines for setting the examination to achieve the end state of probing the officers’ problem-solving abilities.
The ceremony was attended by the Chief of Training TRADOC NA, Maj Gen Peter Okoye, representatives of the Army Headquarters, the Acting Director of Examination TRADOC NA, and other senior officers.
Prior to the inauguration, the panelists had undergone a special session coordinated by the Acting Director Examination TRADOC NA, Brig Gen Godwin Nwamba, to refresh their memories.
