Again, protesters defy 24-hour curfew, swarm Kano streets
The compliance to 24-hour curfew imposed on Kano since Thursday by the state governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf after the nationwide protest went wild is receiving low attention.

Recall that the Thursday protest in Kano witnessed looting and destruction of both public and private properties running into billions of naira, this precipitated the 24- hours curfew declaration by the state governor.
The State Police Command on Friday paraded over suspected looters and vandals arrested with some of the stolen items.
Meanwhile, the protests which started on August 1st is set to run until August 10, 2024.
