A source revealed this was the third raid in less than four years in neighboring areas. The targeted suspect was allegedly a storekeeper for a terrorist group, and substantial cash, including dollars, was recovered. The suspect had been known locally as a tricycle rider before the raid.
Previous raids include an October 2023 gun battle with a suspected terrorist and a June 2021 operation where a house linked to a notorious kidnapper was demolished. Attempts to obtain official comments from the state secret service were unsuccessful, but an anonymous source indicated that the operation details would be made public after investigations are complete.
