Dss silent as wife Seeks the release of Oyo PMS Chairman ,Auxiliary

The Department of State Services has kept mum after their operatives were alleged to have whisked away the wanted former chairman of the Oyo State Park Management System, Mukaila Lamidi, popularly known as Auxiliary, on Tuesday.

This is just as one of the wives of the embattled Auxiliary is seeking his release.

According to a source who preferred to remain anonymous due to the weight of the matter, Auxiliary was arrested at about 4pm at his residence in the Olodo area of Ibadan, the state capital.

The source maintained that Auxiliary was whisked away as a result of the interview he granted on Saturday, May 4, where he called out Seye Famojuro, a trusted ally of Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, for being behind his woes.

“The interview could be what infuriated Seye because he has always been insulting the Makinde ally, believing that he usurped him and stopped him from being the chairman of the motor park despite his loyalty to the governor,” he said.

In the interview he granted to media personality, Ajibola Akinyefa, in the Yoruba Language, the former PMS chairman said, “If he (Famojuro) is the governor or Seyi Makinde is, we will know. It is just a matter of time. Everybody will face the consequences of their actions. The people he chose to manage the park betrayed me and they will definitely see the wrath of God except that I wasn’t true to them in our dealings.

When asked if it was his hooliganism that led to his removal, Auxiliary queried how many people reported that he beat them to the police.

He further said that Seye would still return to Ijesha because Ibadan is not his homeland.

“Seye will still go back to Ijesha because Ibadan is not his town. Only Governor Seyi Makinde and I will remain here because we won’t run away. God has been the one feeding me since they stopped me from working in the part. Seye will reap the seeds of his actions,” he added.

In a video sighted by our correspondent on Wednesday, the first wife of Auxiliary, Mrs Omotayo Lamidi, appealed for his release

In a video sighted by our correspondent on Wednesday, the first wife of Auxiliary, Mrs Omotayo Lamidi, appealed for his release.

She added that the people in the vicinity said as soon as the boys saw the white Toyota Hilux bus with no number plate parked outside, they took to their heels, and before her husband realised, he had been surrounded and subsequently whisked away in a Gestapo manner.

Lamidi said, “We were inside when they ran to us and told us our husband had been whisked away. We were also told that a governor’s aide led the men of DSS to the hall, where he was having a nice time with some of his boys. They came with a white Toyota Hilux bus with no number plate. We are appealing for his release as we believe he had done practically all they wanted him to do.

“It happened around 4pm around Alagbon in Olumuyiwa Omolewa area in Ibadan. It was the people around the area that informed us. His number is unreachable.”
