Two Die, 1 Injured As Vehicle Crash In Ogun
Two persons died on Monday while one other sustained injury as a Toyota car popularly known as Muscle crashed into the bush.
The incident occurred at the Idofe-Oru axis along the Ijebu Ode-Ibadan highway.

The spokesman of the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency (TRACE), Babatunde Akinbiyi, said the ill-fated vehicle, with registration number SMK 532HY, was travelling outward Idofe at about 6am when the accident occurred.
He said, “According to a witness, the accident was caused as a result of high speed by the driver. His effort to maintain his lane on noticing he’s approaching the bush was too late.”
Akinbiyi said as the driver, who died in the accident, tried unsuccessfully to control the vehicle, it veered into the bush hitting a tree in the process with devastating effect on the occupants of the car.
He hinted that the corpses had been taken to Ijebu Igbo while the injured were receiving treatment at the General Hospital in the same town.
