Eid-el-Maulud: Imbibe Spirits of Tolerance, Peace – CG Audi Urges Public
Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Dr Ahmed Abubakar Audi, mni,OFR, extends felicitation to all Muslims in the country and beyond on this year’s occasion of Eid-Malaud celebration, calling them and members of the general public to embrace and practice peace as exemplified by the life of Prophet Mohammed.
As part of this year’s commemoration, the Federal government has through the Ministry of Interior, declared Wednesday, 27th September as public holiday to enable Islamic faithful participate in some religious events lined up for the exercise.

The NSCDC who decries the worrisome incidences of banditry activities, kidnapping, abduction and other criminal acts in spite of measures put in place, admonished the public to keep faith in agencies saddled with the responsibilities of ensuring law and order, assuring that the ugly situation must be confronted.
He reiterates the determination of the Corps in the protection of critical national assets and Infrastructure and its resolve in the protection of lives and property as it works in synergy with sister agencies with collaboration of all and sundry.
