NECO: Philanthropist donates N1m to indigent students in Bida
The Special Adviser on the Special Duties to the Niger State Government Dr. Murtala Bagana, has donated one million Naira to the indigent students of Government Girls Day Secondary School Bida.
This gesture is to pave room for them to prepare and register for the forthcoming National Examination Council African (NECO).
The Philanthropist made a donation to support the downtrodden and also based on economic hardship occasioned by the reality of the situation and to support educating society which facilitate the way for sustainable development.
Dr. Dyadya who represented the donor said Dr. Murtala decided to make contributions that would help develop the school by providing educational assistance that would aid the students’ learning capacity.
The Principal of the school expressed joy over the initiative as a lot of parents have been going through so much to meet up with the registration.

The award was duly received by Dr. Umar Mohammed Dyadya, on behalf of the awardees.
Dr. Dyadya, hence, urged the school to remain the bedrock that would continue to foster the consolidation of education in the State.
Alhaji Baba Aliyu one of the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) members appreciated the gesture, and further explained that the donation would go a long way to ease the pressure on parents who are struggling hard and enable students who would have missed the exam due to financial difficulty have the opportunity to write the school exams.
Nupe Center learned that Dr. Murtala Bagana has been able to develop a master plan to support the schools in moving forward. One of the things he has been able to do is to improve the standard of education. That is why he has supported the colleges and individuals by paying for the student’s School fees.
