Jubilation a as Etsu Nupe Appoints New Sarkin Hausawa for Hausa Community
His Royal Highness Alhaji Dr. Yahaya Abubakar, Etsu Nupe, and the Chairman Niger State Council of Traditional Rulers confirmed New Sarki Hausawa to Alhaji Abdul-rasheed Muhammad at the Wadata Palace Bida Niger State.
Members of the Hausa community in Bida, Niger State on Thursday, July 27, 2023, turned out in their numbers to witness the royal installation of their new Sarkin Hausa, Alhaji Alhaji Abdul-Rasheed Muhammad.
The new Sarki, who succeeded his late Sarki Hausawa, Alhaji Muhammad Kudu, is the Director of the Board of Internal Revenue Bida Branch. Alhaji Abdul-Rasheed became the new Sarki following the general acceptance and adoption by the Hausa community, especially the cabinet members after their consideration of who to succeed the late Sarki from the community.

The death of the former Sarki and the installation of a new one had driven chiefs and stakeholders to both console and congratulate the new ruler.
The people of the community had expressed optimism that the New Sarki would not disappoint the Hausa community given his impressive track record. Therefore, they put on that with his educational background and reach experience, he would supersede the achievements of his late Sarki by Allah’s grace.
While the New Sarki asked people to assist him with go-on ideas, and advice that would help the government in power and maintain peace and order among the Hausa community, Bida, and Nigeria as a whole.
While congratulating the new Sarki on his emergence, the Chief Imams, said that Alhaji Abdul-Rasheed has leadership qualities that would make him succeed on the throne, and should keep praying for Allah’s intervention.
