JAMB: Mmesoma meets Reps, begs for forgiveness over forgery

The 2023 UTME candidate accused of forging her result, Ejikeme Mmesoma, has apologised to the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board.

Mmesoma made the apology on Wednesday, when she appeared before an ad hoc committee of the House of Representatives investigating the alleged forgery.

In her apology, Mmesoma said she was “deeply sorry” for her actions and that she “felt a debt of pain” for letting down JAMB and the Nigerian people.

She also pleaded for leniency for the ban that has been imposed on her.

The JAMB Registrar, Ishaq Oloyede and top directors of the board also appeared before the committee.
