Dokagi Nupe Encourages Bida LG Chairman to Take Measures On Roads Damages By Tanker Drivers
Dear Chairman Bida LG,
With due respect, may I bring to your attention the nasty attitude of Tanker Drivers, alias trucks passing through the township road instead of their normal route. Actually, the road that links into Bida from the Low-cost house through Cerico is so bad, particularly now that it is raining session. Hence there is a long queue stretching from the old Samola/DanFuta to Cerico/Minna junction.
I observed that the residents of those areas who have cars often find it difficult, sometimes impossible to reach their houses with vehicles. The menace is so terrible that the Tanker Drivers block all entry branches to those quarters.
Anywhere, since it has become a regular for a long time, the residents often search for an alternative to reach their houses despite the likely danger.

Of recent, it served that the Tanker Drivers have now chosen to cut short and follow through the township road, from Bangaie to Banwuya, just as from bypass of Federal Poly through GRA, in their trip. Since yesterday, you will notice a queue of more than 5-7 Tankers following at intervals.
Mr chairman, I worry that, are not constructed to carry that large collage in articulated vehicles, coupled with the fact that the road is narrow, and needs repairs, and the Hazzard of the likely heavily crowded population in the daytime. I guess you will not tolerate this.
Permit me to appeal to you to take quick action, to stop this ugly situation before it escalates. Any accident of tanker truck in the Town is not palatable, especially those carrying Fuel.
I decided to establish this contact here, with the hope that it will reach immediately and for the public to also forestall this negative action, in their best interest.
And, as Chairman you can reach out to relevant stakeholders for the federal road there should be fixed in time to avoid loss of life and properties, this is creating suffering for the people, and socio-economic is frustrating.
