As one of the fastest growing and active city chambers, our focus has been geared towards achieving these goals, and the most prominent of them is the Small-Scale Informal Cross-Border Trade project (SSICBT). This project in collaboration with the Nigeria Embassy in the Benin Republic, the Nigeria Immigration Service, the Nigeria Customs Service, all other Border Security Management Agencies, traditional institutions, the Communities, and other stakeholders, allows businesspeople to have a stress-free cross-border movement, which is necessary for a more robust system of trade and commerce.
The SSICBT received huge support from CPP Obua, the Comptroller of Immigrations, Lagos State Border Patrol, as he contributed tremendously to the project within his short but remarkable posting to Lagos State Border Patrol, Seme Border area.
It is with a deep sense of gratitude that I bid you farewell in your capacity as the Comptroller of Immigration today and welcome you into the BACCIMA family as a brand ambassador. I wish you the very best in your future endeavors while looking forward to a successful and highly productive time with you as an Ambassador of BACCIMA.
