FLAILAS receives NBTE team for courses accreditation
Fatima Lami Abubakar Institute for Legal Administrative Studies (FLAILAS) Minna, Niger State on 22nd May 2023 received the National Board of Technical Education’s team who came to inspect the school for the accreditation of the courses.
The Institute management sub-committee led by the Registrar was able to prepare the ground for the team to carry out the accreditation excise.
The courses ready for accreditation are Computer studies, Crime Management, Public Administration, and Business Management.
The team will soon complete the inspection and then instruct the institute to award the diplomas as a National program.
Therefore, upon the completion of the accreditation, the Institute will comfortably raise and attract students for standard studies.

The accreditation team from the National Board for Technical Education NBTE was led by the Zonal Director, Dr. Samaila Tanko, and representative of Executive Secretary Dr. Kabiru Jauro and 25 others.
The FLAILAS Provost Dr. Mohammed Aliyu, Bursar in hospitality welcomed the team, and the Institute’s Registrar Mall Saidu Mamudu Kpako (Dokaji Nupe) hosted them.
From the reliable information, the following programs are registered to be accredited; are National Diploma in Mass Communication and National Diploma of Accountancy next year.
It also learned that the Institute has been in a long struggle to turn the courses into National Diplomas so that it will have a boost recognition and motivational way to encourage people for studies in the school. With the efforts of current management, the school is experiencing a lot of development.
