Tinubu’s Cabinet: Who the Cap Fits for Top Position from Jigawa State
There is this saying that; “to whom much is given, much is expected.” Thus, the remarkable contribution of Jigawa State to the success of APC in the just concluded presidential election can never be overemphasized.
The ruling party could not but watch helplessly as it surrendered Kano State to the resurgent NNPP in both the two rounds of the election. However, this is contrary to what ensued in the neighboring Jigawa State as the electorates voted massively for the success of APC which led to its overwhelming victory over the oppositions.
As the tradition in politics, president-elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is expected to reward Jigawa with strategic positions in his cabinet, because “one good turn deserves another.’
Notwithstanding, some people have started making moves to be in the forefront for nomination/appointment to various positions from Jigawa state but it is imperative to blow the trumpet loudly so that it will echo in the ears that listen and work with reality.
In light of the above, Mr Tinubu needs to be reminded to reaffirm his position of rewarding the true and loyal party members who worked towards his success and the APC in general.

Accordingly and without an iota of doubt, Honourable Farouk Adamu Aliyu is the right person to pick for the highest position reserved for Jigawa state in Asiwaju’s cabinet. This is due to the unquantifiable contributions he gave towards Asiwaju’s victory and the APC at large.
Being a party chieftain, Honourable Farouk Adamu Aliyu has mobilized thousands of people and used his resources to canvass support for the party.
Above all, Honourable Farouk is a promising politician, a straightforward person that never betrays or sabotages his political associates and his party. He ensured the success of his party and all its candidates and thus became unique among equals.
His perseverance and commitment towards the sustenance and development of APC is one attribute that makes him different from other political opportunists who benefited from the party and do nothing for its future survival.
Based on the above and for the sustenance of APC and its popularity in Jigawa state, we present to the President elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Honourable Farouk Adamu Aliyu for consideration and inclusion into his kitchen cabinet.
Doing so will continue to guarantee the continuous availability of breathing oxygen for APC in Jigawa State and the Northwest in general.
