Again, ISWAP’s Attack on Monguno Repelled by Troops
The troops of Sector 3 Multi National Joint Task Force (MNJTF) have repelled attacks by ISWAP in Monguno, the northern part of Borno State

Zagazola reports that the ISWAP fighters attacked the town with heavy weapons on the night of Friday April 7, 2023 in an attempt to penetrate the most populous northern town.
The troops successfully pushed back the attackers, after engaging them in a heavy gun battle.
Monguno is one out of the 27 local government areas of Borno state which has a distance of about 137.8 kilometers North of Maiduguri.
The ISWAP terrorist group had previously launched a series of deadly attacks on the town but were mostly repelled.
