Boy Declared Missing After Father Sent him Away for Visiting Estranged Mother

A resident of Zaria Local Government Area of Kaduna State Hindatu Haruna has said that her former husband sent her son away because he frequently visits her.
This was contained in a Facebook post made by a social media influencer, Fauziyya D. Sulaiman.
Aliyu Nuhu who was sent away is a 17-year-old boy.
Speaking to our correspondent via the phone, the distraught mother explained that his father sent him away after learning that he was coming from her house.

“ I learned that after Aliyu returned home, his father asked him where he was coming from. Aliyu said he visited me. His father got angry and asked him to gather his clothes and come to my house. Aliyu knew I was married to someone else and he can’t come and live with me, ” Haruna added.
She further said that her son left home in December 2022 but nobody informed her about it.
“I got to know about it last week and have not been sleeping since then, she added.
She called on the general public to help her search for her missing son, saying whoever knows his whereabouts should report to the nearest Police Station or any traditional leader in Zaria.
