JUST IN: 20-year-old man stabs stepmother, sister to death in Kano
A 20-year old man, Gaddafi Sagir, has reportedly killed his stepmother, identified as Rabi’atu Sagir and her daughter, Munawwara Sagir, in Kano.
According to Daily Nigerian, the incident occurred at Fadama, Rijiyar Zaki in the Kano metropolis on Saturday.

It was gathered that the suspect was said to have stabbed the duo to death after accusing the stepmom of causing his mother’s divorce with his father.
The spokesman of the Kano State Police Command, Abdullahi Kiyawa, confirmed the incident.
Mr Kiyawa, a superintendent of police, said the suspect had been arrested, adding that the command would issue a statement to that regard shortly.
