Bandit-terrorists Attack Kaduna Communities, Kill 15 Residents
Suspected bandits have killed 15 villagers in three local government areas in Kaduna State.
Eleven residents were killed at Giwa Local Government, while two were killed each in Kajuru and Birnin Gwari local government areas.
Daily Trust gathered that the attack in Giwa, where 11 people died, happened Friday evening, but details of the incidents remained sketchy at of the time of filling this report, but the Commissioner for Internal Security and Homes Affairs in the state, Samuel Aruwan, confirmed the killings.
In a statement issued on Friday, Aruwan noted that the state government sent its condolences to the family of the victims.

He stated that the government was informed by security agencies that apart from the attack in Rafin Sarki in Giwa Local Government Area, which claimed 11 lives, two persons each were killed in Kajuru and Birnin Gwari local government areas. He listed the names of those killed.
“On a sad note, the Kaduna State Government has sent its deepest commiseration to families of victims who were killed in attacks by bandits in Giwa, Birnin Gwari and Kajuru local government areas.
“Similar briefings revealed that Cibiya and Karamai communities in Kufana, Kajuru Local Government were attacked by bandits and two people were killed. Several persons were also injured.
“Bandits killed two people in Damari, Birnin Gwari Local Government Area. Governor Nasir el-Rufai expressed deep sadness at these reports and sent his heartfelt sympathy to the families of the slain victims. while praying for the repose of their souls. The governor also prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured,” he stated.
