Two dead, five injured in Anambra accident
Two persons died while five sustained injuries in an accident along Onitsha-Awka expressway in Anambra state.
The crash, which occurred around 8.45pm on Sunday, involved an articulated truck and commercial bus.

An eyewitness said the bus driver lost control and rammed into the stationary truck from behind.
“The truck driver had abandoned the vehicle after it developed fault and placed caution sign at the front and rear.
“But the bus driver who was on speed rammed into the truck from the rear and crashed,” the witness said.
Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Corps Commander Adeoye Irelewuyi, confirmed the crash, attributing the cause to road obstruction and excessive speed.
