Cholera Kills 74 In 30 States Within 6 Months
EMERGENCY DIGEST- The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control says 2,339 suspected cases of cholera and 74 deaths have so far been reported from 30 states this year.
NCDC, in its situation report Wednesday, said of the suspected cases, the age group below five years was the most affected for males and females.

It listed the affected states as Abia, Adamawa, Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Bauchi, Bayelsa, Benue, Borno, Cross River, Delta, Ekiti, Gombe, Imo, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, kebbi, Kogi, Kwara, Lagos, Nasarawa, Niger, Ondo, Osun, Oyo, Plateau, Rivers, Sokoto, Taraba and Zamfara.
NCDC said the multi-sectoral Cholera Technical Working Group (TWG) continued to monitor response across states.
