Kidnappers demand N10m to free Ondo cleric, son

Gunmen, who abducted a pastor, Venerable Olu Obanla, and his son, have demanded a ransom of N10m.

The cleric and his son were abducted on Saturday on Ifon-Okeluse Road in Ose Local Government Area of the state.

A police source said the kidnappers demanded N10million but the family was able to raise N1m, which the kidnappers rejected.

According to the source, “ Venerable Olu Obanla and his son were kidnapped yesterday (Saturday) on their way to Okeluse in Ondo State.

Police spokesman Funmilayo Odunlami said detectives were combing the forest to find and rescue them.
