ISWAP Terrorists Ambush Police Convoy, Kill 2, Injure 5 Others

ISWAP terrorists have ambushed a patrol vehicle and killed police personnel along Maiduguri-Damaturu road.
At least two policemen were reportedly killed and five other injured as a result of the attack.
The terrorists attacked the police men at Goni Matari village between Minok to Jakana in Kaga Local Government Area of Borno State.

“In the early hours of today, at about 0800hours, our police men came under ambush by terrorists who parked their vehicles and sneaked through the paraphet around Goni Matari village which was their usual crossing points.
“They also burnt two vehicles of the police men then ran away on sighting a reinforcement team headed by the Commander of the 29 Task Force Battallion as well as the police CRACK squad.
