NAF airstrikes kills several Boko Haram terrorists/ISWAP in Sambisa forest

Several Boko Haram insurgents were killed following a series of Airstrikes by the Nigerian military on the frindges of Sambisa Forest in the Nigeria’s Northeast, Zagazola learnt
An Intelligence Officer who told Zagazola Makama that the strikes which was conducted at Zandia village by the Air Task Force Operation Hadin Kai on Friday at about 1500hourz, said other terrorists reportedly suffered serious gunshots wounds.

The competent Military sources disclosed that the Military’s operation was successfully executed after the fighter jets spotted a large number of terrorists on four trucks within the Zandia settlement, shortly after they were sighted around Gorgore within the Sambisa Forest general area.
“They have been hyburnating around Kauwaram, Zarmari, Shettima and Buni Yadi where they are terrorising commuters and stealing from farmers.
He said that the attack aircraft took turns in engaging the designated location within the settlement, scoring devastating hits which led to the nutralisation of many fighters.
The sources declined to give an accurate figure of the Boko Haram militants killed during the operation, but said that the occupants of the gun trucks, who had attempted to flee, were mopped up in follow-on attacks by fighter jets.
