Breaking: Boeing 737 passenger plane with 133 on board crashes

EMERGENCY DIGEST- A Boeing 737 passenger plane, owned by China Eastern Airlines has reportedly crashed in South China.

Information about the disaster on Monday is still scanty, according to the Russian news agency Sputnik.

So far, there have been no official reports on any casualties caused by the disaster. A video of the crash has been shared on Twitter, with the plane in flames in the mountains.

The plane reportedly has 133 people on board.

Chinese Central TV confirmed the crash.

It said the plane crashed in Teng County, Wuzhou City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, resulting in a forest fire”, a report said.

Preliminary data suggested it was Flight MU5735 en route from Kunming to Guangzhou.
