Police Officers Killed as Gunmen Abduct Jigawa Contractor’s Son-in-Law
Suspected kidnappers have killed some police officers at Kwalam in Taura local government area of Jigawa State.
Lawan Shissu Adam, the state Police Spokesman confirmed the incident to newsmen.

He said after killing the officers, the kidnappers abducted the son-in-law of a popular contractor to the state government., Ma’aru Abubakar and set a police patrol van ablaze.
He explained that deceased officers lost their lives when they tried to prevent the abduction of the son-in-law of Haruna Maifata.
The PPRO said efforts were being made by the police personnel to apprehend the suspected kidnappers.
Adam explained that the deceased officers are Anas Usaini, a Superintendent of Police, and Sunusi Alhassan, an Inspector.
