ACE Pharmacy Offers Free Drugs, Eye Test in Medical Outreach at Abuja
As part of giving back to the society, ACE Pharmacy, a giant pharmaceutical store, on Saturday, organized a free medical outreach to the residents of Wuye District in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT.
Chief Executive Officer, CEO, of the store, Pharmacist Chibuzo Ezeani, said the exercise is part of their annual Corporate Social Responsibility, CSR, which entails giving back to the environment they operate their business.
Mr. Ezeani told PRNigeria that the medical outreach cut across various form of ailments including tropical diseases such as malaria and common skin infections, mass deworming and metabolic diseases such as hypertension and diabetes.

During the outreach, the pharmaceutical firm provided immune boosting multivitamins, health awareness talk, free eye check to residents of Wuye.
“ACE PHARMACY is solemnly responsible for the provision of all logistics and resource persons involved in this medical outreach.
“These include medical doctors, nurses, medical laboratory scientists as well as free distribution of the drugs,” the CEO said.
Ezeani urged other health institutions “to engage their host communities in this kind of CSRs as such will immensely help in boosting the health standard of the society.”
He thanked the community elders in Wuye Districts who rendered their support in ensuring that the program saw the light of the day.
Malam Abubakar Isah, one of the beneficiaries, lauded the efforts of ACE Pharmacy, praying that God will continue to expand the firm.
