Lagos building collapse: Rescue team recover 10 corpses so far
Ten corpses have been brought out of the 21-storey building which collapsed in Ikoyi, Lagos on Monday, according to rescuers.
The rescuers also said nine persons have been recovered alive since operations started around 4pm on Monday.

Ibrahim Farinloye, Coordinator of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) in the South-West Region, said rescue work was stalled in the early hours of Tuesday following heavy down pour.
He said rescue work commenced immediately the rain stopped and that during which two persons were brought out alive.
“The Deputy Governor said that Approval was given for 21 storey about three years ago. The problem was the construction.”
“The State Government had sealed the site for four months and regular supervision was a continuous one on the site,” he said.
