JUST IN: 190 Boko Haram Fighters surrender to Nigerian Army

About 190 insurgents have surrendered to the Nigerian Army.

The terrorists surrendered in Mafa Local Government Area of Borno State on Saturday, August 14th.

Reliable sources confirmed that many of the terror sect’s top fighters, foot-soldiers, their wives and children were among those who surrendered to soldiers.

They pleaded with Nigerians to forgive them and gave assurances that they are no longer interested in activities concerning the dreaded Boko Haram sect.

The Nigerian Military has earlier stated that over 1000 terrorists and their families have laid down their weapons and surrendered in the past two weeks following the Army’s renewed offensive against insurgency in the North.

However, many Nigerians have however condemned them, calling for their urgent prosecution.
