Unknown gunmen kidnap 8 ceramic workers in Kogi
Unknown gunmen have kidnapped eight workers working with a Ceramic company in Kogi State.
DAILY POST gathered that the incident happened at the early hours of Wednesday in Emiworo, under Ajaokuta Local Government Area of the State.
It was learnt that the workers were abducted while loading stones which is expected to be delivered in the ceramic site located in Itobe.
The suspected criminals who were fully armed, according to sources, whisked away their victims to an unknown destination.
One of the victims, DAILY POST learnt, was identified as Hassan Shaibu.

Shaibu’s wife who spoke to DAlLY POST confirmed the kidnap of her husband.
She said, “Yes, my husband was among those ceramic workers kidnapped in Emiworo. We are yet to hear anything from their abductors. As I speak to you, I am confused and I don’t know where to go from here”.
The Police Public Relations Officer in Kogi State, DSP William Ovye Aya confirmed the incident to DAILY POST on Wednesday evening.
Aya, however, said six mining workers of West African Ceramic were kidnapped.
According to him, the Police in collaboration with sister security agencies had combed the bushes to ensure that the abducted miners regained freedom from their abductors.
