The source said the youths are still in the area vowing to retaliate the killing of their members despite the heavy presence of the security agencies in the areas.
He said: “I am confirming it. I am a newspaper vendor but I don’t want you to mention my name. The two boys are already down as I speak with you. Police and NSCDC are here to maintain peace but those guys are still threatening to retaliate. I wish the police can still reinforce to our area to ensure more lives are not lost.”
A photojournalist who craved for anonymity told our correspondent that: “They killed two people already. We are yet to know those behind the attack. Police are yet to get here. I have called the PPRO but he denied killing two people. But you know it is my area and I heard from a reliable source that Isaja and transformer have been killed,” he said.
The Police Public Relations Officer, (PPRO), Adewale Osifeso, did not pick his calls and a text message sent to him was not replied.
