EMERGENCY DIGEST- The current political climate in Kano state is taking a new dimension characterized by blackmail and character assassination by people occupying higher political positions in the state and no effort is being made by the state government or the ruling party to caution such miscreants.
The unfortunate thing is that some party leaders, elected and political appointees in the state are trying to institutionalize this bad culture in their politics which by implication will continue to be inculcated in the minds of the upcoming generation.
Looking at the scenario and dimension of politics in the state, it clearly indicate the need for a neutral, God fearing and selfless person who will transform Kano State to greater level and ensure a peaceful and healthy politics in the state.
In view of this and to arrest the situation, the good people of Kano state must produce a credible person who will take over the leader from the current administration in 2023.

Such a person must be socially, politically and morally capable of dealing with the ugly political trend exhibited by some politicians who seemed to be the most influential in the state.
In accordance with my perspective and candid opinion, this giant task can be adequate delivered by Senator Barau Jibrin based on the following reasons:
- He has no any enemy in politics both within and outside his party and thus relate good with everyone.
- He has never hire or sponsor any gang or group of thugs to blackmail, harass, intimidate and assassinate the character of any body.
- He is doing good in accomplishing the responsibility shouldered on him as a senator and he proved to be the best among equals in that respect.
- He is patient and accord respect for all and sundry. Thus, he listened to people and respond positively.
- He forgive and forget the bad been done against him.
Going by the above attitudes of Senator Barau Jibrin, I strongly believed that, with him as Governor, Kano State will no doubt have a positive social, economic and political development.
