How Gunmen Abducted 40 worshippers inside Katsina Mosque
Gunmen have reportedly abducted 40 people from a mosque during midnight prayers on Monday morning in Jibia local government area, in Katsina State.
Reports coming in from Jibia say that the gunmen came around 2am and abducted 47 people, 36 which escaped.

According to a source who preferred to remain anonymous, he said they knew of an impending attack and informed the police in Jibia, who then prepared but the gunmen must have been tipped off by an informant and changed the direction of their attack.
There has been no official statement from the police or the government yet.
