B’Haram: Air Strikes in Mana Waji, Bulama Kill Many Terrorists
Air interdiction missions being conducted by the Air Task Force of Operation Lafiya Dole have led to the elimination of several Boko Haram Terrorists (BHTs), in Borno State.
Some structures and logistics store belonging to the terrorists, at Mana Waji, were also destroyed during the interdiction missions, on Friday.

The air strikes were executed employing a force package of Nigerian Air Force (NAF) fighter jets and helicopter gunships.
According to the statement, they were carried out after series of aerial surveillance missions revealed that the new settlement was being used to store their weapons and logistics items, and as well as plan and stage attacks.
It says: “On sighting the NAF aircraft, the insurgents were seen fleeing the location. Consequently, in a preemptive move, the NAF attack aircraft engaged the new location in successive passes, leading to the destruction of some of the structures and logistics stores. Several insurgents were also neutralized in the process.”
In a related development artillery bombardments by NAF fighter jets yesterday took out more Boko Haram Terrorists’ (BHTs’) hideouts. It also eliminated several of their fighters at Kote Kura and Bulama Isamari area of the State.
“The air strikes were executed yesterday, employing appropriate force packages of Nigerian Air Force (NAF) fighter jets and helicopter gunships based on credible intelligence reports indicating that the BHTs had recently established camps at the 2 settlements, where they store their logistics items, as well as plan and launch attacks,” according to Enenche.
