Kidnappers demand N50m ransom for three children
Kidnappers operating along the Bénin-Akure axis have placed a N50m ransom for the release of three children in their custody.
The children were abducted alongside their mother and five others between Owo and Ifon in Ose local government area at the weekend.
They were said to be going to lmoru for an annual age-group festival.
Five other persons who were travelling to Lagos were also reportedly kidnapped at Ago Asabia, before Elegbeka along the Bénin-Akure Highway.

The witnesses said the mother was released by the kidnappers who held back the children until a ransom is paid.
Ondo police spokesman, Tee-Leo lkoro said the police command is yet to get reports on the two incidents.
Ikoro stated that the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in charge of the areas said there was no abduction of such.
Several persons have been kidnapped in the state in the last two weeks since the jailbreak occasioned by the #ENDSARS protest.
