BREAKING: Boko Haram Attacks Yobe community
Residents of Babbagida, headquarters of Tarmuwa Local Government Area of Yobe State were thrown into pandemonium this evening when suspected Boko Haram insurgents stormed into the town and started firing their guns sporadically.

ASP Dungus Abdulkarim, Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Yobe Police Command confirmed the attack in a telephone conversation with Daily Independent.
According to him, he was called on phone by the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of the area informing him of the attack.
He said that the insurgents came to the town with large number of trucks. The Police spokesperson further said that the details of the attack could not be obtained as he has lost contact with the DPO.
