The immediate past Kwara State Commissioner for Special Duties, Hajia Aisha Ahman Pategi has commiserated with the people of Gbaradogi and the entire Patigi Local government on the recent devastating flood disasters recorded in the community.
According to the statement made available by her Technical Assistant, she stated that ” I wish to commiserate with the entire people of Patigi Local Government, especially victims of the floods, whose livelihoods have been affected by the devastating floods. While also sympathising with the residents of the Gbaradogi community that had been displaced by the floods, she prayed to Almighty Allah to adequately compensate all the affected people across the community.
In the same vein, she also expressed her deepest concern about the damages caused by the floods to government infrastructure, such as schools, hospital, electric poles and pipe-borne water installation amongst others.
She thereby called on the Kwara State Government led by Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq and other relevant Government bodies to provide measures in alleviating the hardship caused by the disasters to the flood victims.
“ I want to call on the Kwara State Government and relevant Federal Government Agencies to assist the residents of the community on necessary relief assistance.”
