Troops Kill 4 Bandits in Kaduna-Abuja Highway Raid
Troops of Operation Accord have killed four armed bandits at Jeka Da Rabi area along Kaduna-Abuja expressway.
The successful operation, according to the Defence Headquarters (DHQ), was conducted yesterday.
A statement by Maj. Gen. John Enenche, on Thursday, indicated that acting on credible intelligence on the movement of bandits from Kachia area, troops swiftly mobilized to the scene and laid ambush.

Maj. Gen. Enenche, who is the Coordinator of the Defence Media Operations (DMO), disclosed that the troops made contact with the bandits, and engaged them with superior firepower, thereby neutralizing four of the criminals.
According to him, other bandits escaped with gun shots wounds.
“Troops also recovered one AK-47 rifle and five rounds of 9mm with a magazine,” he said.
The DMO Coordinator, added that troops, presently, have continued to dominate the general area with aggressive patrols in search of the fleeing bandits.
He said: “The Military High Command congratulates the troops for their dexterity and encourages them to intensify the onslaught against the criminal elements in the country.”
