Fulanis Get Borehole as Military Builds School in Plateau
As part of boosting Civil-Military Cooperation (CIMIC) activities, the leadership of Operations Safe Haven and Whirl Stroke have erected a borehole for a Fulani community at Miyangu.
In addition, they have also constructed a school in Pashu community of Plateau State.
Maj. Gen. John Enenche, stated this on Thursday, at the Defence Headquarters (DHQ), in Abuja.
“Equally, the management staff of Operation Whirl Stroke has drilled three new boreholes at Guma LGA of Benue State,” he said.

Enenche, who is the Coordinator of the Defence Media Operations (DMO), spoke during a press briefing on various operations of the Armed Forces, across the country.
According to him, the ongoing CIMIC activities are fostering the much desired Civil-Military Cooperation between troops and the local populace.
He said: “From the foregoing, peace is gradually returning to the troubled locations in the North-Central zone of the country, while the confidence of the local populace is being enhanced.
“Equally, farmers are gradually returning to their farms as a result of troops’ patrols in the hinterlands to deny armed herdsmen, rustlers and other criminals, freedom of action.”
