The Abubakar Shekau faction of Boko Haram Terrorists, has released its first clip of an alleged spokesman of an allied Jihadist group claiming to be speaking from Niger State, North Central Nigeria, which also share the same geo-strategic similarity with the North West region of the country.
Speaking in Hausa, the Jihadist Spokesman greeted Shekau and their “brothers” in Sambisa, Lake Chad and Zamfara.
A Security Analyst, Mr. Bulama Bukarti while tweeting on the development expressed concern about the possibility of the Northeast-North West Jihadist alliance, which has been brewing for sometimes now.

Bukarti stressed that even though his may be mere bluff but that if it is true, it is another evidence of Boko Haram Terrorists presence in the North Central Nigeria.
According to him, Niger State has dense mountainous forestry that links all the way to Kaduna, Katsina, Zamfara and Sokoto states of North West, which are currently ravaged by armed bandits
“This vegetation will a perfect safe haven for Boko Haram. It is thicker than Sambisa forest where Boko Haram has eluded security forces for 10 years. And Abuja will be within a striking distance.
“It is high time the operations in the Northwest and north-central have changed to an anti-insurgency one,” he said.
Bukarti further urged the intelligence agencies on the need to invest more resources into “these dynamics to investigate this claim and understand the extent of the threat and their coordination strategy”.
