NDLEA bursts Succoth Garden over alleged production, sale of “skuchies” in Ilorin
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, Kwara State Command, raided Succoth Valley Garden over reported “skuchies” production and sale.
The Public relation officer of the agency, Ekerette Ukpong, in a statement issued in Ilorin, the Kwara state capital disclosed that the manager, Opeyemi Ibrahim, and two staffers Abdullahi Lukman and Mubarak Rejuavo were arrested during the raid.
Ekerette said, “A total of 195 litres (232kg) of skuchies were recovered. The joint allegedly belongs to one Ibrahim Olawale, also known as Lessy, who is now at large.

“While his Manager, Opeyemi Ibrahim, and his two sales boys, Abdullahi Abiola Lukman and Mubarak Rejuavo were apprehended. The joint, popularly called Succoth Valley Garden, specialises in the production and sale of skuchies.”
Ekerette further explained that the Skuchies is a drug with the combination of Cannabis Sativa, Tramadol tablets of 232kgms category, cough syrup with Codeine, Swifnol, Sobo, and many more which is cooked and sold in jerrycans to customers.
“One litre of illicit concoction goes for N2,500 and it is patronised by the low and mighty in the society, especially students. The joint has turned many youths to junkies, as helpless ones see the place as home, also a den for criminals, who plan their criminal activities while taking illicit drugs.”
However that State Commander, Mr Ambrose Umoru admonished hard drugs operators to stop as more raid would be done to ensure drug abuse is eradicated in the state.
